Jordan Rizza's career in publishing evolved from a deep passion for journalistic integrity and the love of newspapers and magazines.

Jordan learned the publishing business while holding a number of leadership positions at  the Republican American Newspaper. A long-standing family owned newspaper, The Republican American has been recognized nationally and regionally, and won numerous awards in journalistic excellence, most notably a Pulitzer for Meritorious Public Service.  

Jordan has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in marketing, branding, advertising, media relations, and business strategy. He has extensive experience in advertising and marketing and his progressive nature and forward thinking have positively impacted the numerous media outlets he has been associated with throughout Connecticut and the Hudson Valley


Most recently, a sales executive at Allied Printing, he has brought forth leading edge technology solutions within the printing industry for well-known publications such as Art & Auction, Modern Painters, Blouin Lifestyle, and Gallery Guide.  Also while at Allied,  Jordan has been an integral part of growing their magazine printing division, on a global level.

 

Jordan resides with his wife, Lindsay and their two children, on the shoreline and where Lindsay was born and raised.

 

 

John Gaffney is expert at bringing digital media and technology companies and their executives to the marketplace. Editor at Brand Innovators, the largest community of brand marketers in the U.S., he blends experience, journalistic skill, and a sharp sense of business vision.     

 

Formerly content and strategy director with SpecOps Communications and BlastPR, he has worked with more than 20 companies over the last year to craft their messages for publication, speaking and market positioning. After spending his early career in the entertainment publishing industry and holding senior executive positions in the sports marketing and entertainment industry, Gaffney joined the Internet and customer strategy business in the late 90s when he became sports marketing director of Yahoo! That was followed by a stint as managing editor of Revolution magazine where he won the Folio Gold Award for editorial excellence. He has served in senior editorial positions at Digiday, 1to1 Media, and Mediapost.

 

He was nominated as the Connecticut Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year in 2013 and recently is the winner of the LA Reel Film Festival and the Las Vegas Film Festival for his screenplay Hard Promises.

Both a Creative Director and a Brand Strategist, Leslie has married these two skills to launch countless publications for corporate America. She worked intimately with Hallmark to launch their current publication produced by Meredith Publishing; launched magazines for General Motors, Gateway Computer, and Avon; redesigned Vegetarian Times and created a business-to-business publication for Coca-Cola Fountain called Liquid Assets. Leslie also worked extensively with publishing companies such as TIme-Life, Scholastic, and Forbes on a variety of publishing initiatives.

 

Leslie received her BFA in Communication Design from Parsons The New School, has won countless awards for her work, has lectured at numerous conferences and associations, has been quoted in many media outlets, is a guest lecturer and adjunct professor at The School of Visual Arts, and sits on the Advisory Board of Global Graduate Studies for FIT.

 

On the Shoreline, Leslie has spoken at a variety of Chamber's, Women’s Groups, and anyone who will listen on the Secrets of Branding Right The First Time.

 

Leslie, who grew up sailing the LI Sound with her dad who lives in Old Lyme, moved to Madison with her family 10 years ago.  “I’m a New Yorker who lives on the shoreline. It’s like always being on vacation.”

Toni has extensive experience managing operations and finance in the marketing, branding, advertising, and publishing industries.  She is recognized for having keen, strategic insights and business skills. Her talent is translating complex concepts into successful executions. 

 

Toni’s career evolved from trade publishing and catalogs, to launching the first Direct-to-Consumer custom content publication for Carnival Cruise Lines. She continued with the launch of multiple travel industry publications. This experience led her to oversee the launch of McCann Worldgroup’s first in-house custom publishing division. She then advanced into senior and executive roles in branding, direct, and digital marketing, serving CRM strategies for Bank of America, UPS, RCI/Wyndham Corporation, General Motors, Lexus, and Hallmark.

 

Toni has managed business and agencies valued at over $8 million each, as well as campaign spends valued at over $25 million each, for Fortune 100 clients. From estimating, forecasting, P&L management and procurement, to project management and client services, she is a specialist in improving return on investment. She ensures every winning strategy is produced on time, on budget, and with the right results.
